When Prof. Dr. Ernst Laves laid the foundation stone for Laves-Arzneimittel GmbH in 1908, research into the intestine and its microbiome was still in its infancy. More than 100 years later, the intestine and all the bacteria it contains, with their central role for the immune system, are more important than ever before. For 111 years, the fourth-generation family business has been passionately dedicated to the holistic possibilities of therapies for the most diverse intestinal diseases.

In all its products, Laves attaches great importance to the sustainability of the therapeutic success, the naturalness and tolerability of the active ingredients, as well as to being able to offer those affected an effective alternative to conventional medicine.
